Emmaville Mining Museum

Miki, Jean, Maisie, Marilyn, Jeanette & Mervyn.
On Friday 10th of October 2025 a group of residents went on a outing for a visit to
Emmaville Mining Museum, where there was so much to see. Museum
volunteers were kind and more then happy to show our
residents around and discover the history of Emmaville and surrounding areas.
Roseneath residents had a lunch at Emmaville Top Pub,
then owners were very accommodating and provide some great big plates of
lunch that our residents enjoyed.
Poem of the Month
“The Little Plant.” by Kate Brown.
In the heart of a seed,
Buried deep, so deep,
A dear little plant
Lay fast asleep.
“Wake!” said the sunshine,
“And creep to the light.”
“Wake!” said the voice
Of the raindrops bright.
The little plant heard,
And it rose to see
What the wonderful
Outside world might be.
