Roseneath residents are making the most of the beautiful spring weather! Our
morning walks are always something to look forward to, filled with wonderful company, warm sunshine,
blooming flowers and the fresh Glen Innes air.
There’s nothing better than starting the day with a smile, a little fresh air and great company!!!

Grandparents Day

A huge thank you to Glen Innes Public School for inviting our Roseneath residents to
attend their special Grandparents Morning Tea and Talent Show on the 24th of September.
It was wonderful to see our residents enjoying such a special morning and being included
in an event within our local community. Opportunities like these bring so much joy to our residents
and allow them to feel connected and involved in the wider community.
A very special congratulations to all of the talented students who performed
on the day. You put on an extraordinary performance, and in the eyes of our residents,
you were all winners!

Soft and fluffy blueberry buttermilk scones
Ingredients
450g (3 cups) self-raising flour
2 tbsp caster sugar
Pinch of salt
60g butter, chilled, chopped
2 tsp finely grated lemon rind
310ml (1 1/4 cups) buttermilk
Self-raising flour, extra, to dust
125g fresh blueberries
Buttermilk, extra, to brush

On Tuesday, 29th September, Life Choices Glen Innes kindly invited a group
of our residents to join them for morning tea and a variety of fun activities.
Everyone at Roseneath would like to extend a huge thank you to the Life
Choices team for welcoming our residents with open arms. It is truly wonderful
to see such strong community togetherness, and we deeply appreciate the
kindness, effort, and inclusivity show to our residents.
