Poem of the Month
“In Flanders Fields by John McCrae”
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Christmas Lunch / Farewell
Glen Innes Men’s Shed held a Christmas Party and Farewell lunch for Jim Wilson who is
a founding member back in the 1990’s. A group of Roseneath gentlemen had a lovely time
at the Men’s Shed with everyone. Roseneath wishes Jim Wilson all the best.
Gratitude
Roseneath Staff would like to say thank you to Julie-Anne and Sandra for the beautiful
gift with kind words that was given to Janelle and the Staff.
We would like to give further appreciation to all family and friends that have shown their
gratitude to Roseneath Staff throughout the year.
Inghams
Inghams representatives brought a food display for Roseneath Residents to taste
what options are available to them. Roseneath Residents and staff thought the display looked wonderful and the food was
delicious. Roseneath management is always trying to keep Residents connected with their community,
It’s always great to see company’s coming in to Roseneath and giving time to our Residents.
