Recipe of the Month – Pizza
Every Friday Roseneath Cooking Group Picks a Recipe to Cook and taste.

Residents made three types of homemade pizzas (Ham and Pineapple, Chicken, and mushroom and Meat Supreme).
Dough Recipe (Lucy & Lauren)
30 g olive oil
220 g warm water (you may need a little more!)
1 teaspoon raw sugar
2 teaspoon dried instant yeast
400 g bakers’ flour or plain flour
pinch of salt
Place yeast ingredients and with warm water (37degrees) and stir for 2 minutes, add the rest of the ingredients, and stir until combine.
Place dough on flat surface and knead for 2 minutes, lightly grease a large Bowl and place dough into bowl and leave covered with tea towel
in a warm spot for 30 minutes or until doubled in volume. Divide dough into two rollouts to the shar of pizza you want.
Add your desire of fillings and cook in preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15mins or until base is crispy.
January Bus Outing

RAO staff and a group of residents went out on a bus outing to the Lamb and Potato festival in Guyra.
Residents enjoyed walking along the market stalls, listening to live music and Lunch.

Celebration of Australia for the Month of January 2024

Roseneath Residents and staff come together to embrace and learn about the culture of Australia in the month of January.
We had Elva Playing the organ while the residents and staff joined in on singing.
There were poem readings, fun facts, singing, dancing and Australian games played.

January Monthly Updates and Reminders
Consumer/Relative Meeting held on the 21/02/2024 at 1330Hrs in the community hall at Roseneath Aged Care Centre.
A guest Speaker from Seniors Rights Service will be presenting an Information Session for the residents & their families on Tuesday 5 March 2024 at 1pm.
