Easter Hat Parade
Jean, Judy, Rhonda, Lorace & Students from Glen Innes Public School.
On Wednesday the 9th of April 2025 residents were invited over to Glen Innes Public School to watch the kids
Easter hat parade and to have a morning tea afterwards while listening to the school band.
It was a beautiful day that the residents enjoyed, we would like to say thank you to
Glen Innes Public School the kids done a wonderful job with all their hats and the morning tea provided
and music band was a great finish to the morning.

Afternoon Tea

On Friday the 11th of April 2025 a group of residents had afternoon tea with Odeya,
Residents sang songs and played games with Odeya, it was a beautiful afternoon which brought much joy to everyone.
Easter word Hunt!
It has been a busy month for staff and residents that joined together to enter the
Easter competition to find all the bunny feet around the facility, residents were very excited
about completing the Easter word hunt. We would like to announce a big congratulations
to the winners of the hunt Lyn.M and Nola.P.
Recipe of the Month
Peanut Butter Crunch Bars By https://bakeplaysmile.com/

Ingredients
250 g (1 ⅔ cups) milk chocolate or dark chocolate
180 g (¾ cup) peanut butter smooth or crunchy
50 g (¼ cup) coconut oil or butter
90 g (3 cups) rice bubbles or any puffed rice
Instructions
Grease and line a 20cm x 20cm square tin with baking paper and set aside.
Melt the chocolate, peanut butter and coconut oil on low heat in a saucepan
(or in 30 second bursts in the microwave on 50% power).Mix until smooth.
If using a Thermomix: Melt for 3 minutes, 60 degrees, Speed 2.
Stir through the rice bubbles.
If using a Thermomix: Mix on Reverse for 15 seconds, Speed 2 or until completely combined.
Press mixture very firmly into the prepared tin.
Spread the top of the slice evenly, and refrigerate until firm (a minimum of 2 hours).
ANZAC Day

Roseneath held an ANZAC service on the 25th of April 2025 at
10.30am in the community hall that touched the hearts of the residents,
staff and family members, on this special day Residents and Staff
respectfully laid wreaths in honour of the fallen, Lest We Forget
Monthly Birthday Celebrations
As of this year Roseneath has started with something new at the end
of every month we will have a birthday cake for all residents that celebrated
a birthday in that month. This celebration will happen with our karaoke
afternoon this will allow residents to have a celebration with music, cake and drinks.
