ANZAC Day
Roseneath held an ANZAC service that touched the hearts of the residents, staff and family members, many memories were shared as well as Anzac biscuits.
On this special day Residents and Staff respectfully laid wreaths in honour of the fallen, Lest We Forget.
Saudi Arabia and Egypt Day
In the month of April 2024, we celebrated the culture of two countries Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Residents had the pleasure of making and trying Saudi Champagne as well as food that comes from both countries.
There was a lot of Fun facts, stories and traditional belly dancing shared for the Residents to experience.
Recipe of the Month
Saudi Champagne
Ingredients
1 L apple juice
0.5 L club soda
1 apple
1 orange
1 lemon
4 big sprigs fresh mint
Instructions
Thinly slice apple, orange, and lemon, place in a large pitcher. Add mint sprigs.
Pour in the apple juice and club soda. Stir.
Serve cold on a hot day.
