End of Winter
On the 2nd of August 2025 Glen Innes, Ben Lomond, Guyra and other
areas were lucky to end the winter season with a snowfall.
Roseneath hopes everyone had a chance to build memories from it
and that we all loved seeing all the photos.
60 Years
Judith Vivers
Roseneath Board members, Management, staff and residents would like to say
congratulations to Judith Vivers for receiving the Australian Red Cross Long
Service Medal on the 15 of August 2025. It is inspiring to see the dedication
and support you have shown over the last 60years to Red Cross Society
and all the help you have provided to everyone that needed it.
Recipe of the Month
Fluffy Vanilla Pikelets

Ingredients
280g self raising flour
60g sugar
250mls milk
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of finely ground salt
45g melted butter
Instructions
Place all ingredients into bowl except the butter.
Blitz on speed 6 for 20-30 seconds or until lump free.
Add more milk if it appears too thick.
Add melted butter and blitz on speed 6 until just combined.
Place small spoonful’s of the batter into a frying pan on medium heat.
I do three at a time. I use a tiny bit of butter to grease my pan.
Once bubbles appear on the pikelet, flip over and cook for 30 seconds or until cooked through.
We Will Rock You

On Wednesday the 27th of August at 7.30pm. Roseneath residents were
invited to attend the chapel theatre to watch the musical ” We will rock you”,
they were provided tea, coffee and Cake/Slice. It was a fantastic performance
the residents highly enjoyed the night.
