Dear Team at Roseneath Aged Care Centre,
As the time comes for me to say goodbye, I find myself reflecting on what an incredible journey it has been to be part of the
Roseneath family. While farewells are never easy, I wanted to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you.
Working at Roseneath has been more than just a job—it has been a profoundly rewarding experience. From the very first day,
I was welcomed with warmth and kindness, and I quickly came to see that this is no ordinary workplace.
What sets Roseneath apart is the genuine sense of care and
compassion that runs through everything we do—from supporting one another as colleagues to
ensuring our residents feel valued, respected, and truly at home.
I have learned so much even though I only stayed for almost 2 years. I’ve grown both personally and professionally,
thanks to the incredible people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. Your dedication, patience,
and unwavering commitment to those in your care have been nothing short of inspiring.
You have taught me the true meaning of teamwork, resilience, and empathy, and for that, I am genuinely grateful.
There have been so many special moments—shared laughs, heartfelt conversations,
and even the numerous challenging times that we managed to pull it together.
These memories will stay with me, and they remind me of the unique and caring culture we’ve built.
To the management and leadership team: thank you for your guidance, trust, and encouragement.
Your support has meant a great deal to me, and it has helped shape my path forward.
To the fellow staffs: thank you for your friendship, your collaboration, and the countless ways you help or made every day brighter.
I will miss our daily interactions, our shared goals, and the spirit of community that makes Roseneath such a special place.
Though I am moving on to a new chapter, I carry with me the values and lessons I’ve gained here. I leave with a full heart,
knowing that Roseneath will continue to be a place of excellence, warmth, and genuine care.
I hate to say goodbyes as I might going to see you all again.
I will always look back on my time here with pride and affection.
Wishing you all continued success, happiness, and fulfilment in the important work you do.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything.
With warmest regards and heartfelt thanks,
John Maquiling
